I decided to try JAR mostly because of convenience, and boy am I glad I did. I had a problem that needed immediate attention. I called as soon as the shop opened and they were able to get me in within an hour.
I had feared that the problem might be electrical, which of course would mean $$$. They had my problem evaluated within the hour and while some places might use this opportunity to do some unnecessary work, JAR diagnosed the problem as a relatively minor part. They had it fixed within a few hours and I was out again with considerably more money in my pocket than I had expected.
They were also able to fix a minor part that no other mechanics were able to handle or were unable to get parts.
The shop was clean and the folks there were very friendly, so I have a new repair service now. Thanks, guys.
