Robert, there are several important facts omitted from this review.
You originally brought the vehicle in on 3/12/26 for an intermittent noise concern that was diagnosed as a failing belt tensioner. The repair was completed at that time.
When the vehicle returned on 5/14/26 with a continued intermittent noise concern, you initially stated over the phone that you did not even want the issue checked further because you were concerned about being charged again. Once our technician reviewed the vehicle, it was immediately determined that the replacement tensioner itself had become defective — something that can occasionally occur with mechanical components despite being new at the time of installation.
During that same phone conversation, your reaction was not appreciation that the issue had already been identified and would be handled under warranty at no charge. Instead, the focus immediately became, “You installed a defective part in my wife’s car?”
For clarity: parts can fail. That is precisely why warranties exist.
Despite the skepticism and hostility expressed toward our shop during the conversation, the repair was still expedited, the defective component was replaced under our 2 year / 24,000 mile warranty at no charge, no additional diagnostic fee was charged, and you only paid for the oil service performed during that visit.
It is also important to clarify that intermittent noises can be among the most difficult concerns in automotive diagnostics, particularly when the condition cannot be consistently duplicated during testing.
As for the claims regarding management and employee treatment, we thoroughly reviewed the camera footage from your visit. The footage did not support the characterization presented in this review, nor did it show employees being “berated” in the manner described.
From our perspective, it is disappointing that after the issue was identified, covered under warranty, expedited, and resolved at no cost, the response instead became a personal attack against management and our business.
We stand behind the professionalism of our team, our warranty, and the manner in which this situation was handled.

Guess what? The rumble happened as I was at the stop sign to get on PIB. I backed up to show what it was doing, but it went away.
My biggest impression regarding this visit was seeing the manager for the first time. There were three workers and him in the lobby, and within t minutes he berated all three of them so badly that if I were his employee, hired because I was capable of doing the job, and was treated like that, I'd walk off and find a more reasonable employer.
Because the issue has not been resolved, and because I don't want an abusive manager to succeed, I will not be back.
