Just had a typical upscale getting my car inspected. I t had brand new wiper blades. Mechanic claimed they were faulty!!! As the didn’t clear the window after 2 cycles. Charged me $60.00 to replace. Shop manager told me he wasn’t gonna jeopardize his state inspection license for anyone… kinda aggressive passive as I didn’t ask him to do anything wrong.. at that point the could have recognized the error, they were brand new.
Anyway, the pa inspection code says they have to clear the windscreen after 5 cycles,
Not 2, nor does the code say anything about minor streaking…. Btw, the wiper blades were in perfect order…
My choice was to suffer the aggravation of going elsewhere or forking over the $ 60..
