Alternator causing errors in sensors
I have a 2014 F350 6.7L diesel with the DEF system, the error on my display said DEF fault. The program set the truck into idle mode. I had it brought to J&J Automotive and John cleared the DEF faults and said the 2 alternators were shot, giving the sensors false readings. So he replaced the alternators, did an oil/air filter change, and everything is good. Instead of addressing only the error code it coulld have cost me a fortune. Great diagnosis saved me money, and completed it really fast.
