Dishonest, Disreputable and Liars! Avoid at all costs

Brought my wife's car in 8/8/26 for a simple yearly inspection. A pristine 2019 Buick Encore with 27000 miles (driven 3,800 miles per year). Never had a single part replaced nor had any issues, and every year it qualifies for the mileage exemption. Had the first appointment in the morning. Was told 1hr to 1.5hrs to complete. They close at 4pm. By 1pm I hadn't heard from them, so I called. They said they were just starting to work on it and that it would be ready soon. I asked if it passed inspection or if it needed work. They said it passed both inspections, but recommended two new air filters and an oil change, to which I agreed after asking pricing. When we picked the car up there were numerous additional charges that were never communicated. Paid the bill and I started to follow my wife home. Keep in mind, they're in Lawrence Park Industrial Center and we live in Aronimink DH near St. Dot's (a 2-mile drive). I can see fluid gushing from under the car. Get home, put a piece of cardboard under the engine and in 5 seconds its soaked with antifreeze. We call them up, no answer, they're closed. Phone says to leave a message, but it hangs up on you. Sent the guy a text, no response. Bring it back 8am next day to ask them what happened - they tell me that the water pump is cracked, it was a catastrophic failure. Catastrophic? My wife drives 25 miles any hour to the point where I want to divorce her she's so deliberate and it was only a 2-mile ride. They said it was our fault and wouldn't replace it - on a car that's in pristine, low-mileage condition. They had to wake Jeff Costa (owner) up out of bed to come in. He comes in (wait until you get a load of this guy) and won't even acknowledge us. Says it's not his fault and to get out or he'll call the police. I tried to show him the parking space where they parked the car after servicing, before we picked it up - it had a huge spot stained with antifreeze, the lift that he used to work on the car also had a stain on the ground. I've got photos if you want to see for yourself. They obviously destroyed the water pump during inspection and are being creeps about it. Guess what Jeffy, tell it to the Judge. See you in court - you're a cheat, thief and disreputable - even your receptionist couldn't look at you or us, that's how embarrassed they were.
