Destroyed the engine on my car with Shoddy workmanship and shady business practices.
Sharing so nobody else ends up in this situation.
I brought my BMW to Integrity 1st Car Pros after confirming they had experience with BMWs. Instead, this happened:
🚨 Quick Timeline & Issues
Oct 1: Dropped off car
Oct 2: They broke a screw on oil filter housing
Oct 3: Broke oil level sensor
Oct 4–5: Shop closed
Oct 6: Told sensor needed replacement — waited 3 days
Oct 9 ~6:00 PM: Picked up car
~7:15 PM: 45 miles later Car broke down — “Drivetrain Malfunction”
BMW confirmed sensor was patched, not replaced, Proper Procedure not followed & oil was over-filled by 0.5 qt
💸 Out of Pocket
$1,400 to shop
$500 tow(back to shop-Shop to BMW-BMW to Home)
$855 BMW diagnostic
1 month without a car
🧊 Shop’s Response
Certified letter denying all responsibility(attached)
Refused to provide liability insurance info
“Corporate” number is a cell w/ full voicemail
No follow-up or resolution offered
I was more than patient and I waited a month trying to resolve privately and professionally.
Now moving forward with:
👉 Filing complaint with Texas Attorney General
👉 Attorney taking over this week
