Didn’t fix the actual problem

I brought my 4Runner in because it was making a loud noise while driving. Brought it in and the cv boot was fixed and I left. Next day the same noise reoccurred so I called back and Phil informed me the business was closing. I had to take it to big o tire cuz it seemed like the noise was coming from the front tires. Turns out it was a bad wheel baring and I got a new wheel baring assembly for $922. I just feel like I wish your mechanic would’ve found that issue in the first place then I could’ve postponed the cv boot.
