I Took the car in for an inspection. I told Them that the car was leaking oil, coolant, and transmission fluid. I Paid to get the car inspected And requested to be Informed of the location and source of the leaks. They just came back to me and said that the car is leaking those fluids. They only confirmed what I already knew without giving me any clarity as to where it Was leaking from and the necessary fixes. I said “ So is the transmission malfunction error code on the dash because it’s leaking fluid?” And the technician said “that could be the case or maybe another issue”. As far as the oil leak they said “it COULD BE the valve cover gaskets” Unfortunately “COULD BE” is not what I paid to hear. So I left after paying the inspection fee With the exact same knowledge about the car that I came to the repair shop with. I came knowing that it was leaking those fluids and then I left knowing that it was leaking those fluids. Nothing new. Another respected repair shop in town said they would have never done that to me. So they are going to set up a time to inspect the car in-depth and provide me with remedies for the leaks and issues. So I’ll be paying another inspection fee
