I did not buy a car from Hyundai of Jasper. However, I would like to share my experience with the service department. I live in Eufaula Alabama and recently had a death in my family. I traveled to Memphis Tennessee for a stressful week. We were on the way home, and my Sonata lost power and the “check engine” light began to blink. Luckily, we were about 12 miles from the nearest Hyundai dealership in Jasper Alabama. Once we arrived, we were welcomed with open arms. Our dog was traveling with us, but this was not a problem for the staff. They let us know that there was a waiting room that we (including our dog) were welcome to. Naturally, we were looking at other options to get home. We were insured that although the service department was very busy, that they would get to our car as soon as they could. About an hour into our wait, they pulled the car around and diagnosed the problem with a sensor. The mechanic cleared the code and reset the check engine light. We were sent on our way. The problem with the car soon reoccurred (this is a review on the dealership not the car!) once we were on the highway. We were able to find a way home, but the next day, a team member from Hyundai of Jasper called to check on us! This is amazing customer service! I just wish that the dealership the car is currently at would get some tips from Hyundai of Jasper!
