VERY DECEIVING SALES STAFF
DO NOT PURCHASE A VEHICLE FROM THIS DEALERSHIP! WE WERE SOLD A CAR THAT DEPRECATED BY $50,000 IN LESS THAN 6 MONTHS AND ARE NOT BEING OFFERED ANY RELIEF!

This sales staff is incredibly misleading and seems to only care about offloading their slow moving vehicles on to their customers. Now we are stuck with a vehicle that’s worth 1/3 of the MSRP and can’t do anything about it. $50,000 gone in a matter of months. I would never recommend trusting this dealership. Go buy a Hyundai or Genesis elsewhere.

bad service ever they could not fix my car service rep Brandon should be fired he has bad attitude bad customer service calls me in phone mad about why i left bad review online he is giving bad name to hyundai word of advice don’t service your car there.

Accommodated without an appt.
I had an appt scheduled for a hybrid warning light. I had to miss it unfortunately due to being admitted in the hospital. It was very difficult to reschedule my appt. I used online chat, phone call, and even through text. But couldn’t get an appt until a few more weeks later. The service manager was kind enough to let me drop off my car without an appt which I really appreciate, but I had to wait over the weekend and wait a few days the next week. The service person was also very difficult to get a hold of when I wanted to just check in on my car. The phone was always busy and or his voicemail was full. It took 11 phone calls to finally get through to leave a message with a live person. They did eventually get back to me and things were fixed and I was able to pick up my vehicle the next day. The issue I had was a hybrid battery warning light that I thought was from a recall. They just had to update the software. I feel i shouldn’t of had to pay since it was part of a recall that I thought I had fixed a few months prior. Unfortunately I had to pay for a diagnostics and be without a car for 5 days. They don’t provide a car. I gave them a good rating due to their accommodation. But honestly I would rather take my car to my mechanic at Aloha Automotive next time. I wasted a lot of time and missed out on a lot of days of work.

Servicing was fine but unexpected costs that kept going up.
Check in and servicing overall went fine but was told I needed the cabin filter replaced. Supposedly all my maintenance was supposed to be covered, but I had to pay out of pocket for this filter. Then I was initially notified and quoted one price so I authorized it, but was charged $45 more at checkout. Then my paperwork said I'd "requested" the filter be changed...no I hadn't. To be honest, I felt a little scammed.

Bad Customer Service, Status, and Disposition
Car was there for 4 days. Said there was a problem with oil over consumption (an issue we’ve never had in 6 years of having our vehicle). Had to call daily for status updates. When arriving, paperwork just said “oil change” with no mention of concerns about engine making noise, feeling like going to fail, and prior history of warranty repairs to rebuild parts of the engine! Brandon was very unhelpful and not knowledgeable. Our car is starting to have the same issues that we originally brought the car in for and will have to bring it in again.

I was in for regular maintenance.
The process was easy, the front check in was quick, the person who told me what was being done was very capable andI was pleased with the ride home and the ride to pick up the car at completion.

Dealership said no record of appointment, 1 hour later email query as to why we missed appointment. After car returned, got email thanking us for using dealership. Does computer work, or not?

We brought our car in or a service, you ruined the engine and forgot parts
We brought our car in for a service. We brought it home and it was smelling like burning oil. So, we called back to make another appointment to have it fixed and the nearest appointment was 5 weeks away. 5 WEEKS! We finally got it back in. $4,200 in charges and fixes. The car is only worth $7k. We also have a 100,000 mile extended warranty. Guess what? Every problem just happens to not be covered by the warranty. Well, according to Hyundai. How convenient. Worse, our splash shield was missing. The ONLY people who touched our car in it's history was the Escondido Hyundai service center. So, we brought our car in for an oil change and it came back a mess caused by the Hyundai dealership. It's now at another shop and we are awaiting their feedback. Disappointed isn't the word. Being ripped off is a much better choice.

Unacceptable communications and an unreliable car brand
I am selling my Hyundai. I cannot rely on a dealership that does not communicate. They can claim under-staffing and parts delays, but NO EXCUSE for lack of communications. The service lead me to a complete lack of confidence in the brand Hyundai.

I am sorry to hear that after meeting with you and showing you the documentation that the fault code indicating that there was more than one problem when the vehicle arrived, didn't convince you that we didn't break anything on your vehicle.  We are struggling with a shortage of staff as we discussed and are in the process of on boarding and training additional personnel. Excellent as usual
My service visit was prompted by a recall regarding the trunk latch. I was greeted instantly by the service rep. The rep reviewed the nature of the report and estimated time to repair. I elected to wait in the lounge. The repair was completed sonnet than I expected. Very happy.

I have been coming to Hyundai since I bought my first car, this is my third car and service is great!
Wouldn't go anywhere else even though Escondido is a little ways from my home.
