IF YOU VALUE YOUR SAFETY, DON'T COME HERE!
I have had problem after problem with Hyundai, but my latest experience is directly caused by this dealership. I feel compelled to share my experience in the hope that it helps others avoid similar issues.

This situation began when my car was in for a warranty catalytic converter replacement (from a previous engine failure—a well-known occurrence among Hyundai’s) and I decided to take proactive steps to ensure my safety following Hyundai’s latest brake recall. I was terrified at the thought of brake failure and expressed my concerns multiple times to my service advisor. He repeatedly assured me everything was fine. To gain peace of mind, I opted to have the brake fluid flushed, thinking it would provide an opportunity to ensure everything was in top condition.

However, during the service, their technician made an error, requiring me to pay to replace my rear calipers due to their oversight. Mistakes happen—fine. I’m willing to move on, as long as my car is safe. After the repair, I asked—multiple times and in writing—whether my vehicle was safe to drive. I was assured it was.

But as soon as I picked up the car, I immediately noticed something was wrong. As a non-mechanic, if I could tell there was an issue, why couldn’t the trained professionals? It turned out I needed new engine mounts, an issue that should have been flagged during the service. I let it go and moved forward.

Now, I’ve discovered that the repair I was forced to pay for due to their mistake was done incorrectly and has been leaking fluid ever since. The very situation I was trying to avoid—brake failure—has now become my reality, all because of their negligence.

When I called the dealership to address this urgent safety concern, I was asked to leave a message for the service director, clearly stating it involved a repair their team performed. Hours passed with no response. I called again, only to be passed to someone named Steven (sp?). Rather than treating my safety concern with the urgency and seriousness it deserved, he dismissed it entirely. He was rude, dismissive, and unwilling to take any responsibility for the mistakes that have now jeopardized my safety.

This lack of accountability and disregard for customer safety is appalling. Hyundai’s negligence has put my life at risk. Despite their reassurances, my brakes are failing due to their faulty work or parts, and I’m left with no resolution and mounting frustration.

No customer should ever be treated this way, especially when their safety is at stake. Hyundai advertises itself as a reputable, trustworthy brand, but this experience has been anything but. Their corporate team, in contrast, was far more professional and compassionate, but the dealerships? Completely unacceptable.

I genuinely hope they step up and make this right. In the meantime, I’m doing everything in my power to hold them accountable. If you value your safety and your peace of mind, I strongly urge you to think twice before entrusting your vehicle to this dealership.

first time there and couldn't be happier. The welcome and experience with CJ was fantstic.
CJ met us at the door and every step after that was a great experience. Never felt pressured in buying. Took the time to explain the different vehicles and options. the Management and finance dept s were great. They Were able to answer our questions. Our trade in was ok, but understand their position. We left there feeling very comfortable

Would recommend CJ (sales) highly. Hyundai of Central Florida is on Top of our list in dealerships.

FANTASTIC EXPERIENCE!!
Hyundai of Central Florida is amazing all around. My Dad purchased a car from Jill Burks and had a fantastic experience all around. Jill went above and beyond to make sure my Dad found the right car with the accessories he wanted/needed! Jill also assisted me with my daughter's car, which was in the service department. Jill is professional, compassionate, knowledgeable and hard working! I highly recommend Jill Burks and Hyundai of Central Florida.

Upon arrival I value my reception. I like that out of thousands of customers "at that moment I am valued as if I'm the only customer." That guarantees my return business along with service needs addressed and not having to come back and forth that too speaks volume for the service team. Keep up fantastic job.

Excellent assistance provided by Jill Burks!
I recently went to go look for cars with my daughter. I wanted it to be reliable and safe since it would be my daughter's first car. Jill Burks was amazing throughout the entire experience. She answered all of my concerns as well as making it a memorable experience for my daughter. She always was transparent with the numbers, so we did not have any surprises in the end. Jill Burks is truly a great person; my daughter and I appreciate all of her help.

Excellent assistance provided by Jill Burks!
I just purchased my daughter's first car the Elantra 2022. Jill Burks was so attentive, honest, and kind. She was so helpful throughout the whole process, she answered all of my concerns, to find the safest car for my teen. She took into consideration what my daughter liked and my concerns as a mom. She is committed to help her clients, we ordered the car and it arrived earlier than expected, she was working with us on her two days she was off from work to make sure everything was done the way she explained to us since the beginning. Jill made sure we didn't have a single minute of stress dealing with negotiations. She was so transparent with the numbers so that there would not be any surprise numbers in the end. She made this experience wonderful and memorable for my daughter. Jill even made sure to take pictures of my daughter with her car. She even placed a big red bow on her new red car. Jill thank you so much it was so nice meeting someone like you!

2021 Santa Fe Shop Again
In the less than one year we have had this vehicle it has now been in the shop more than 30 days. It continues to give us issues and this time it was "fixed" with a band aid and less than a day later the problem came back. It is impossible to get someone to answer the phone in service and I have had to drive to the dealership to either make appointments or see what the status is of my vehicle.

Excellent and Timely
I was traveling from out of town when my engine light came on and the engine was having trouble turning over. I also needed to get the car working, as I had a public music concert I was performing in in another city the same weekend. Despite the fact they were very busy, they were extremely accommodating and got my car completed by the next day. Thanks so much team Hyundai!
