I purchased the Platinum Extended Warranty Plan from Safeguard when I purchased my vehicle. I had problems with the mechanics of the driver side mirror after the Hub repair shop worked on my Equus. The day I picked up the car the Driver side seat adjustment and mirrors would not work. I also could not drive the car with the seat in the furthest back position. On that day I was told both would be fixed at the Repair Shops Expense. I also had to return the car because scratches were not buffed out. Two days at the service dept to find out it was a fuse. Even after the fuse was replaced the mirror would not always activate when attempting to adjust the position. I reported the mirror multiple times for 9 months. The service dept never advised me that I could use the Extended Warranty to replace the system. When I asked what the Platinum Extended Warranty covered, Paul in the service dept. would not give me a straight answer. The service manager George Sanchez, to look good, wrote a response to a written review about service. He stated that Sureguard would not cover the mirror. The fact is Sureguard has no record of the request by George Sanchez or any other Service Member from Hub contacting them and requesting an approval for the mirror. Sureguard representative advised me the mirror and all the mechanics was covered with a $100.00 Ded. George Sanchez is not correct; he did not make a request for warranty work on the mirror. Not the first time he told me something and it was not correct. Previous time George did not stand behind his word.
