Car repair
Hix Auto was very thorough in diagnosing the trouble with my car. They quoted me fair prices and never tried to pressure me or upsell. They answered all my questions and explained what was wrong with my car so I could understand. When it came time to fix the part that was the problem they worked with my schedule. This business is honest and good to the community they service. They defiantly have my continued business and referrals.

Mechanic work on all my vehicles
Anytime I have a problem with any of my vehicles, Hix is just a phone call away and gets me back on the road quickly. Highly recommend Hix Tire and Auto.

A night in Temple
I would recommend this shop to anyone passing through on I35 that ends up stuck. Everyone there was real nice and efficient and I would say this was probably my best experience in terms of getting my car serviced.

Auto repair
Hix auto is the best. Great people and the owners are amazing. John is the only person I trust to work on my jeep. I love the fact that they specialize in jeep repairs because not a lot of mechanic shops have all the tools for a jeep. I will continue to go back to Hix for all my auto repairs

Front axle rebuild and new driveshaft
I had some issues that caused my pinion bearing and front driveshaft to get sloppy. Hix Auto was able to get my Jeep fixed as timely as possible I’ve used them in the past and always pleased with the work and old friend atmosphere where talking with them.

Warranty work
As usual, John Hix was more than accommodating in his approach to provide satisfaction to my vehicle’s needs. He replaced a part that was still under warranty with minimal discomfort to me. Identified the problem, ordered the part, set me up with an appointment, and had it done in one day. It is hard to find this kind of service these days. I don’t know if this is the best shop in town…but I would not go somewhere else to find out.

Transmission work (first time client)
I was helped right away by Tex the mechanic and Blake in the office. I had never been to Hix before, so I had to fill out some paper work. But my truck was already in the bay and Tex (mechanic) was getting everything ready to flush my transmission and change the fluid. Blake’s mom also works in the office and she was very nice. Everything was completed in about 2 hours and I was on my way. Great service and great staff and mechanic. This is a family on business and they treat you like family.

They are great had a transmission replaced in my 5.9 V8 Dodge Durango and I haven’t had an issue since
They have Fair pricing when Hix auto provided me with upfront estimates and stuck to the price.
Hix Auto has Expert mechanics Skilled technicians who can accurately diagnose issues and complete repairs correctly the first time.
They had Clear communication with me and the Mechanics explaining the problem and repair process clearly to allow me to understand what was happening and what was needed and why.
They Completed repairs within the estimated timeframe.
Hix Auto was Friendly and welcoming and helpful attitude from the front desk and mechanics made me feel comfortable leaving my vehicle with them . I would recommend Hix auto to all friends relatives, and people in general.
They have always taken care of my vehicle issues and they are now the only place I go to for my vehicle repair.
