Horrible Service
I brought my car in for repair due to someone rear ending me. The shop let my car sit under a tree while waiting for parts. It was hot so tree sap was all over my hood & baked into it the clear coat. Don tried to make me believe that I purchased my car defective which was utterly ridiculous. Eric offered to fix it but then began screaming at me when I asked him how long it would take. Apparently, I was expected to kiss his feet for agreeing to remedy the issue that was caused by this shop. When I didn’t bow down to Eric, he continued screaming, called me out of my name, and refused to fix the damage. Eric then told me to sue him and leave before he called the police. I agreed to leave once he provided a resolution to remedy the damaged caused to my brand new vehicle. As a result, Eric called the police on me. I followed up and called the police to have the damage reported. The police was very busy and could not come quickly. I left and went to the police station instead.

I then went back to the dealership where I purchased my vehicle, barely two months ago. The detailer confirmed that the substance was in fact tree sap and scheduled an appointment to remove it. Skylar from this shop called me about an hour or so later profusely apologizing for the incident and damage. Skylar offered to repair the damage and to give me a gift card “to make this right”. I refused it and informed her that she should have intervened when the incident happened. Instead, she along with every other employee sat back and silently watched. Even when I sat quietly waiting on the police, she nor anyone else said a word.

Most importantly, as an African American I cannot begin to formulate the feeling I had having the police weaponized against me without cause. You don’t get to pick which officer is dispatched which means an unreasonable could have been dispatched. I could have been wrongfully arrested or killed as society has seen so many times on the news.

I also don’t appreciate essentially being called stupid for unequivocally asserting that I knew the damage was caused while stored by this shop. I’m a lot of things, but stupid is not one of them. In fact, as a law graduate in the top sixth percentile of her class, I would submit that I am extremely intelligent. In addition, my bar passage results indicate that on a national level, 81.2% of test takers tested below me! I could carry on with my high achievements and credentials, but I think I’ve made my point.

I said all of that to say my experience was atrocious and beyond subpar. I will never return to this location or any other location for the reasons stated above. I will also share this very review on every platform that is available to me so people will know what to expect when doing business with this “Lexus Certified” facility.
