Got oil change & tire rotation (dealer was cheaper, but Herb’s was closer). Their inspection told me control arm bushing bad, so on return visit, I authorized them to replace control arms and ball joint assembly. Their after market ball joints didn’t fit, so they had to get them from the dealer, and inflated the charges.
After driving my car a couple thousand miles, I noticed knocking noises from the front. Felt like something was loose, or didn’t quite fit right. Also noticed the CV axle was leaking (recently replaced, it certainly wasn’t leaking before they worked on it).
Took it back, only to get an estimate for practically an entire suspension. Still knocks on crappy roads; CVS axle still leaks.
Although my Honda Civic has a lot of miles, I cant help but feel that they basically wrecked my car, if only in order that I give them more business.
Can’t trust these guys.
