I did not ask Haslet Auto to check my tire air pressure. I have a monitor for that and I get regular air pressure checks at Discount Tire. After I left Haslet Auto, I got a tire monitor alert because my air pressure was too HIGH at 45 PSI!!!! Why would they put that much air in a tire rated at 35 PSI? I stopped at Discount Tire so they could put the appropriate PSI in my tires.
I was offended that my receipt stated I was 6,000 miles over for an oil change. I have a monitor that tells me when to change the oil. My car is 10 years old and I've had no problems using the monitor.
I will be reluctant to go back there for service; however, I will give them another chance based on past service and location. Maybe it was just a new employee ...
