Revised Review
I am revising a review I gave too soon. I had picked up my car and was happy with the front end work done that I brought it in for. However, I noticed damage to the back leather seat that was not there when I dropped the car off. The car was less than 3 months old and I had to take pictures of the interior for the insurance company. Haskins also lost my keys for 5 days and i had to drop off a second pair and my gas tank was empty when I picked it up (was above 1/4 of a gallon when I dropped off). So I think someone was using my car when it was in their possession and this is how the damage occurred. I called and reported it and brought it in yesterday and provided photos. I got a lot of pushback and excuses and I don’t appreciate that. But when i produced the photos and reminded them that my keys were not secured for several days, I was told by Vitali that the owner would call me the next day. He did not. I called and Vitali called me back and left a vm.
I”m leaving my revised review neutral for now until I see how Haskins handles this. A small but very visible abrasion on the black leather seat is not a small fix. And I shouldn’t have to lose value in my car because of what happened when the car was in their possession. But I’m really not happy about the way I was treated while reporting this.
Every business seems great when things go well. But a truly great business will stand out by how they handle things when things go wrong. I guess we’ll see.
