Good service, fixed the problem
I have been waiting to write a review, to see if what Mike replaced was the real problem. My 2013 Lexus RX350 had a starting problem. 85% of the time it would start and then die within 3-5 seconds. If it started and continued to run, the engine ran fine until you turned it off. No missing or hesitation if started and ran. I took it to Haley's for a diagnoses. Mike spent two days of diagnostics trying to run down the problem and verifying he had found it. We talked, I was convinced his diagnoses had a high probability of being correct. It turned out to be a crank shaft sensor, which is tough to diagnose and even harder to replace on most of these modern cars that are not really designed to be maintained. The car makers expect us to throw them away after 5 years and buy another car. Mike replaced the crankshaft sensor and that seems to have fixed the problem. My wife and I have driven about 1-1/2 months since the fix, and no problems at all. Mike found and fixed the problem. Expensive due to the location of the inexpensive part and all the engine parts that had to be removed and replaced just to get at the sensor; but I believe he did a good job for the money spent. He actually charged me a little less than he originally quoted. Tomorrow, I am taking my 2004 Ford Expedition to Mike for a complete brake job.
