I took my 2024 Nissan Altima in for a flat tire. I initially called and spoke with Jim, he told me that they could repair (plug) my tire an to take my vehicle in so the tire can be looked at. He was nice an explained to me that my tire was not able to be plugged because the nail was to close to the sidewall which was understandable, he did also mention that they couldn’t repair my tire because they did not have my size tire available but they could put my spare tire on, which I agreed to..my only problem was that he quoted me $25 to patch/plug my tire..that didn’t happen given the circumstances, but I was still charged $25 to have the tech put my spare tire on.
Out of curiosity I did call Firestone, discount tires, and two local tire shops in the milliken/johnstown area and none of them charged to put on a spare tire.
I think the charge itself was a bit much but overall the customer was good and Jim was kind.
