I took vehicle for a routine oil change and tire rotation. The service adviser told me the coolant should be flushed and replaced at 30000 miles. I agreed to service, which I should never have done without checking the owners manual which indicates this service is not needed until 60000 miles. I was also told at 60000 miles the transmission fluid should be flushed and replaced. I checked the owners manual and found this also to not be true. For normal driving this service is not needed for the life of the car. I will not use this dealership again for service because of this and I will be sure to check the owners manual in the future before agreeing to any additional service. The oil change and tire rotation were done quickly and the car was washed and vacuumed before it was returned to me. I cannot complain about that service, but don't trust them when they lie about "needed" service. This is what gives service departments a bad name, just pushing service for the sake of making extra money.

Sorry you feal that way Mr Horn,

The fluid exchange was recomended due to breakdown of fluid and due to the fluid being dirty, not due to miles, that's why we "recomended" fluid be exchanged.
