Beware! Proceed with caution!
I have been coming to Giant Tire with multiple vehicles since 2010, that is 14 years! I dropped my Cadillac off for a new rotor, brake, and caliper to be replaced. When I dropped the vehicle off, everything was working fine and had no other issues. When I picked the vehicle up, my CUE system (navigation/dashboard screen) was off completely and not working. The Screen started to display messages saying that the system needed to be updated. I brought my car back the next day, after waiting three hours, they finally told me they would look at it, but "no promises". I told them I don't want them to do anything other than give me my car back as it was when it was dropped off. To make a long story short, they could not fix the problem they caused. Instead of accepting blame and attempting to work out a resolution, they tried to send me to a local radio shop or told me to take it to Cadillac. I am a business owner myself and I understand that in some situations there's nothing you can personally do, but to send a customer away after causing an issue and basically telling that they're on their own is just wrong. Not only in the business aspect but also morally, and considering this place is plastered with crosses and bible verses, I would expect more. If this is how they will treat a customer of 14 years just imagine how they will treat you! Good and honest mechanics are hard to come by, I thought they were one of the few left but after today it is clear they are just another wolf in sheep's clothing. I really tried talking with them before leaving in a professional polite manner to give them a real chance to do the right thing. Unfortunately for them what they don't know, is that I have a TikTok following of over 2.4 million followers primarily in the Florida area. After this experience, I have no choice other than to share my story there. While they may think this is "funny" as they read it, social media can greatly impact a business nowadays and these business practices must be brought to light. While I do not wish to hurt a business solely based on one individual, the truth is important for all to hear. Very disappointed after being a 14 year customer that this is how the story ends.
