The building is very nice and well maintained. We drove from San Antonio to look at a particular vehicle. The Sales associate was polite. Some of the answers to my questions were not as accurate as I would have liked. I had some questions about the origin of the vehicle. I know the vehicle transferred from another dealership in the Penske Group right down the street.
We were also shown some original sticker price. When I asked the definition of MSRP and how that particular number was reached, my Sales Associate stated he did not know. We were told how much the dealership had invested in the vehicle, but no documentation was offered or provided to verify that particular information.
I made an initial offer, received one counter-price, made another offer which was about $1000 below the "drive-out" price but that was not accepted. We were told the best the dealership could do was $250 below the original stated acceptable "drive-out" price. Unfortunate.

The Sale Manager of Genesis of Round Rock was extremely unprofessional
I've put a deposit down for a vehicle and been waiting for more than a month. They didn't give me the exact pickup date but kept me updated once in a while so it was fine. After Thanksgiving week, on Monday morning my salesperson contact me and told me it was ready to pick up and asked if I can come within 48 hours. I asked him if he was able to hold it until Saturday because I'm in Dallas. Of course, he needed to ask his manager but then he said his manager already decided to sell to the next customer. EXCUSE ME!!!!! you DIDNOT let me know your policy and did not even bother to ask me before you decided.
My husband called the Sale Manager named Aaron (if I remember correctly) but he hung up on my husband. I called Aaron and he said my husband yelled at him so I apologized to him for my husband's attitude BUT it didn't mean he could YELL at me and didn't let me talk. I had to ask "do you let me talk?" several times while he was venting. He talked to me like I'm a fool and told me that he saw my text that I said I might not able to pick it up within 48 hours. If he let me know before he decided, I've come immediately. I talked to the corporate and they said he should tell me the delivery option and I confirm I don't want it THEN he could sell it to the next person on the waiting list.
Dont get me wrong, there might be a misunderstanding between me and the salesperson but he handled the situation very well until I talked to the sale manager. I cannot imagine that a sale manager at a luxury dealer would treat their customer like that. I feel like I was insulted, frustrated, and betrayed after trusting the dealer for months.
If your buying a Genesis this is the Dealership to do business with. There was several much closer but after much research Genesis of Round Rock is the best possible choice Mark Hammer in sales is very knowledgeable on car
The dealership and everyone involved were friendly and responsive to my car buying needs. I wasn’t pressured in the sales process at all. My new GV 70 is gorgeous! Sleek and stylish and doesn’t look like any other car around.
Rick Tankersley is extremely knowledgeable of the GV80 and all of its features. He answered any and all questions we had about the operation of the vehicle. He spent several hours with us going through the myriad of settings and features this vehicle offers. He made for a very pleasurable buying experience.
Great place to buy a Genesis - I highly recommend it
We purchased a Genesis GV80 from Round Rock Genesis and the entire experience was great. Having purchased many vehicles (both luxury and not) over the years, I've had my share of crappy experiences with dealerships. In fact, i wound up at this dealership after exactly that experience with one of their competitors. They helped us get the exact vehicle we wanted during the toughest time to find a new car and didn't try to add any high margin questionable dealer add-ons to rip us off. Rick, our salesman, knew his stuff, didn't play games and was very professional. If you're in the market for a Genesis (or Hyundai), definitely give Rick a call. I was impressed.
Buying a car at Round Rock Genesis was effortless and easy. Friendly and knowledgeable sales personnel and from start to finish sale took 2 hours. Very stressless!
