The customer service at this dealership has been extremely disappointing. For over a year, I have regularly visited for oil changes and have repeatedly requested that the issue of paint peeling on the inside door panel be addressed. Despite my consistent efforts, including numerous follow-up calls, the issue remains unresolved. I have been promised callbacks on multiple occasions, yet none have been received. This level of service reflects poorly on the management, and it seems clear that the General Manager is not prioritizing customer satisfaction. Horrible customer service!!!

Terrible dealership management / questionable business practices
I purchased a 2024 Genesis GV80 from this dealer … the sales team was great (James), but this dealership should never have been trusted to steward the Genesis brand here in Michigan. Their finance team asked to me share screenshots of my personal banking information to make sure that I could afford the 50% down payment I was making on the vehicle. They claimed they needed this to ensure that my wire transfer would clear … but they then asked me to cancel my wire transfer and go to the local chase bank (down the street) to get a cashiers check. I guess I must not look like the standard Genesis buyer. Tough to see such a great brand being represented by such an incompetent dealer leadership team. This is first and only time I have been asked by any dealer to screenshot my checking account balance and then send the screenshot to a member of the finance team. Please keep in mind this was after they had already ran my credit and secured my financing (so they already knew all that information). I guess they didn’t believe I could actually afford the down payment I was making that day. I’ve filed a complaint with the Genesis brand - hopefully this dealer won’t be selling these beautiful cars for too much longer.

Lack of communication and follow up
This is not 1 star as I was contacted first that my vehicle had informed them that it was due for service and I received a call about it. That part was generous. Now I have reached out a total of 5 times since receiving that call in order to get something scheduled for valet service on my g70. Of those 5 calls 4 were messages left and the 5th was someone answering and saying they had to check the schedule to find a time that they could book the valet to come get my vehicle. Now I was not in a hurry and understood it may take a couple weeks to get done. But the fact that 2 weeks of calls go unanswered and not returned was unbelievable. So I ended up going to my local Kia dealership as they work on stingers with the same drivetrain to get this oil change done. I took my Saturday morning to do this. Part of purchasing this vehicle was the included valet and service for the first 36k miles. On the first time I needed it I went unanswered and paid out of pocket for what should have been free! I will give another chance once the next service rolls around but this puts an incredibly bad taste in my mouth and it is not a good look for anyone that asks me my thoughts. The sales process of the vehicle was top notch, no complaints there. I also love the car, just beyond frustrated that included service(big selling point as well) is not being stood behind.
We had excellent service. Lance was so helpful with the whole process and especially helpful with showing me how to use the features of the car. He has called to follow up and I know that I can call him any time with any questions. I am so happy with my new Genesis GV70. I would definitely go back to the dealership.
This is my first Genesis and first time buying from New Hudson Genesis. Chris and his team were awesome. Loved working w/ Lance. They made everything super easy for me.
Excellent service and personnel. These guys are efficient and easy to work with...well done.

Buyer Beware
My husband and I took delivery of a GV70 last week. We had already turned in our trade and agreed the deal. We were therefore not expecting to be at the dealership for 5 hours taking delivery of the car. I will admit our situation was a little out of the ordinary in that we needed permanent plates as we are traveling to Canada this weekend. The dealership knew this when we did the deal two weeks prior to delivery.
Pros of dealing with Genesis New Hudson - great deal and once they resolved the licensing issue they delivered the plate to our front door.
Cons - we were given multiple suggestions as to how the licensing would be handled-most of which were confirmed by their legal contact to actually be illegal! Knowledge of the vehicle limited at best - we all learned the same stuff on a YouTube video! They made a big deal about having a gift for us - $50 in Walmart gift cards. I think it goes without saying I would not use this dealership again
