From the moment we stepped inside the showroom the experience was first class. We were impressed by our salesperson Odell’s knowledge of the Genesis GV70 and GV80. He answered every question without hesitation. Odell made us feel like we were the only people in the showroom.
The staff, were professional and welcoming. My sales person, Frank was very knowledgeable and pleasant to work with. Unfortunately, the dealership set up doesn't befit a luxury car as there is no separating the Genesis line from the Hyundai line and "Genesis" isn't very visible when driving by. Genesis shoppers are also looking at other luxury cars and therefore expect a "luxury" shopping experience.
Previous Genesis leased from Genesis of Milford. They were virtually unresponsive when I returned to lease a new Genesis. Genesis of Meriden gave me full attention and treated me like a returning customer rather than a new one. Genesis of Milford’s loss is Genesis of Meriden’s gain!
Odell was an excellent sales person to work with. The entire staff at the dealership was helpful and attentive. We had a great experience from the start. Odell was very knowledgeable and professional. If there was any answer he didn't have - which were very few - he was quick to remedy the situation. The entire staff were never pushy, and everyone worked well together to get us to the finish line of purchasing the car we wanted. Great group to deal with so far.
The dealership shows very little pride in the Genesis as far as the actual building is concerned. The car is extremely elegant and there’s one sign way in the corner saying Genesis. The furniture etc. does not look elegant and therefore you don’t expect Elegance
