When we first purchased our GV80 the dealership and service were great. Then they were purchased by Fred Anderson. They will not live up to their word on valet service that was promised by previous owner. Don’t want to hear crap about miles from dealer. Address was discussed before purchasing. Men of their word are getting harder to find.

Service Lounge is Beautiful! Service is NOT!
Service for my GV80. Service lounge is Beautiful. Service is Not.
TLDR: go elsewhere for any real service.
Prob: RR Window regulator broke. Window in the down position. Fastest appt...two weeks. Two weeks, window open!?
I took the door panel off, figured out the cheap cable system broke. Needs new regulator.
Arrived today: After an hour, they tell me...it needs a window regulator - I told them that on the phone. Two days for part to arrive. Another reschedule. No loaners avail for a MONTH. This is when she started getting snarky...and yeah, she did.
This would be funny if it wasn't true: I can buy the regulator on ebay for $200 and save myself a whole lotta snark from Mariah. She actually said: Do you want me to cancel the order? (after telling her I can get one on ebay).
Yes, Mariah....cancel my order.

If you don't finance through us we "refuse" to sell you our car!
A week ago Monday went to dealer with a check from my bank in hand for the entire amount of the used 2022 G70 Genesis car only to find out the sales manager "refused" to sell me the car. Because I didn't use their financing they wouldn't get their kick back and therefore wouldn't make as much money. True we discussed my financing through the dealer but no promises were made and there was nothing in writing that said I promised to do that. And the salesman supplied me with a buyers order so that I could get a loan through the lending institution of MY choice. To be standing in the dealers showroom with a check from my bank in my hand, only to be told they refused to sell me the vehicle was shocking to say the least. To make things worse was I had no way to get home if I didn't have this car to drive home. Well, they not only refused to sell me the car but allowed me to walk out their door with no ride home and it was raining. I ended up walking towards my home for about 2.5 miles before my friend was able to find me and pick me up. The dealership didn't blink. I have purchased more than 40 vehicles in my life and have never been treated so disrespectively. My significant other went to the dealership the next day to retrieve my lunchbox which they made zero effort to acknowledge or return. She was amazed at how brazen the three of them were (manager, accountant and sales) with regard to my experience. They bragged how they sold the car the next day to someone who used their financing. To experience this from a "premium" car dealership was pretty awful. Stronger words are appropriate but we'll leave it there. I have told every person that will listen to stay away from Genesis of Greer as they are not honorable people. A week later I ended up buying a brand new 2023 G70 Genesis from a different dealer.

Still haven’t been able to set an appointment.
I’ve been on hold for a total of 20 minutes. The receptionist Mariah answers the phone and states that there’s no one there to take my call because they’re on lunch… mind you it’s 4:30pm. I have a recall that needs to be scheduled and serviced but yet again there’s nobody to assist me… This location is so unprofessional, it makes me regret leaving my Lexus and it’s exceptional customer service.

We recently bought a 2023 Genesis GV80 from Greer Genesis. We were traveling in Massachusetts and hit a bungee cord and it damaged our vehicle. We called Greer Genesis four times and talked to three different people to set up a service appointment for when we arrived home. Everyone we talked to said someone would call us back and make an appointment. We are still waiting and are very frustrated with their service. We decided to take our car to Hunter Hyundai in Hendersonville NC because they were very easy to book an appointment and they returned our call. At this point we wish we never bought a car from them. We are planning on going in person to talk to the service manager.
If you need a Genesis or Hyundai - this is a great place to shop!
Heather is an awesome sales person. I have purchased 2 Genesis vehicles from her and if I am ever in the market again I will not hesitate to work with her again. That's about the highest compliment I can can pay a sales professional.
The service dept. is also top notch and they go out of their way to be as helpful as they can be.
I worked with Ed Clarke. He was an amazing person to work with. Great personality and very patient as we test drove five cars over two visits. He was knowledgeable on each car we asked about and test drove.
The rest of the personnel I encountered was friendly and always said hello or asked if I needed any assistance. The general manager cooking out and providing ribs for us was a great bonus!
I use to drive a BMW and Fred Had me drive the Genesis...Game changer..... the technology is more advance then the BMW. The service from Genesis of greer is better then any dearlership I have ever been to! You are treated like family! Great Job!!
I had been waiting for this car (Genesis GV80) to come out since it was first announced about a year ago. I have known this dealer, Genesis of Greer, for many years and wanted to do business with them again, even though he is located 600 miles away. The local dealer isn’t one I would ever use.

We always buy from Genesis of Greer because they give us the best price & great service. The personal attention of the GM is an added bonus. Valet service is the icing on the cake. What more can you ask for in a dealer? P.S. the 2021 G70 & G80 which we recently bought are the best cars & values in there respective categories.
