I would like to commend the sales representative, Jamie Pak, for influencing my decision to purchase a car at this dealership. However, my positive experience took a negative turn after buying a Genesis G70 sport prestige on 04/22/24. The car had only 5380 miles as it was previously a loaner vehicle, and I was told it underwent a thorough inspection and was pre-certified. Despite this, I encountered a vibration in the driver's seat upon driving away, which they assured me would be an easy fix during preparation. They stated that I could take the car to another dealership that would be more convenient for me at a later date. Regrettably, the issue persisted even after attempted repairs were made at a later date. It was then discovered that the seat vibration was a common problem in G70 models, in addition to rattling noises from the sunroof and front axle noise. Parts needed for these issues were on backorder without a definite arrival date. Despite voicing my concerns and frustrations to Jamie Pak, the manager, Keith, failed to address the situation effectively, instead placing blame on another dealership and displaying a lack of empathy and responsibility. This inadequate response sharply contrasts with Jamie's initial commitment to resolve my issues equitably. It appears that Hyundai/Gensis of Cumming dealership might have been aware of the car's problems but neglected to address them prior to the sale, continuing to inconvenience me even after purchase. As of today, 06/12/24, the car remains in the repair shop due to unresolved issues. My primary worry stems from having already made payments on a car that now requires repairs after minimal use for my daily commute over the past 10 days. The dealership's focus on making sales rather than delivering quality products and services is evident, leading me to advise against purchasing any vehicle from this establishment.
