I had a new custom motor build for me from an out of state shop and struggled to find anyone to install it. Frankenstein was recommended from another shop and after checking with some friends in the Marysville area, they said Frankenstein is the best place to take my vehicle for anything performance related. We went and met the owner and staff before making our decision and were welcomed and treated like friends from day one. Frankenstein is an ASE certified shop which was a requirement for my install (for the motors warranty) and not only that, they have a guy who specializes in LS motors, another guy for Diesel, and they have people who specialize in whatever you need. We brought the motor and the Yukon and Frankenstein did a great job! My new motor had a Fitech intake with the incorrect throttlebody from the builder for my application and after getting the correct throttlebody, Adrian was able to make some custom mods to get everything to fit correctly. Adrian personally went around from parts store to parts store to find the part needed with enough clearance to not rub on the intake. We discovered some issues with the motor build (not from Frankenstein) which caused some problems but Frankenstein diagnosed it, explained it, showed me what was going on and fixed it with higher quality parts. As a female, it’s often difficult to find a shop I can trust but these guys are different. I can walk in the shop, they will show me what’s going on, explain it and discuss it with me so that I understand and I don’t feel stupid for asking questions. My Yukon is running great now and not only will I be back but I am encouraging my family and friends to bring their special needs vehicles to Frankenstein also. Adrian and his wife and kids are good, trustworthy, honest and fair people. It’s nice to know some businesses are still run on integrity and based on developing relationships with their customers.
