Got the job done, but no communication

They had to replace the catalytic converter on my car and another small repair and it took about 2 weeks. Nick and his guys normally do a great job, but over these 2 weeks there was a lack of communication (I called multiple times a day, but they never answered and I only got about 3-4 calls back overall). Then my vehicle was taken to another dealership without my permission and without me even being notified. Another issue I had was that I went up to the shop on 4 different occasions and I was told "We will look at your vehicle in a few and give you a call" and I only did 1 time. One positive is that they're open on the weekends. If you're looking for a major/time consuming repair, you may want to get everything in writing to make sure they follow through. Communication is key, especially if you have others property in your possession.
