i went to fisher transmission to have my transmission rebuilt . I was recommended by my mechanic saying they are the best in the buisness and from what I read they were . My total cost for my escape to have it rebuilt was $3,000 . The car ran great until last friday Sepetember 1 when it started slipping the overdrive light was flashing along with check engine light . I was able to get it home it still drives forward but no reverse and moves forward in neutral . The fluid is black and burnt smell its destroyed. How can it last a year and 11 months only 18,000 miles on it ?. So now i'm without a vehicle retired and have to find another car . So it's quite obvious there rebuilt job was crappy .
