Fastlane autocare are criminals!!
Terrible awful company, they overcharge and do a bad job and are not open to anmy discussion about their terrible service. DO NOT GO THERE!!!! AVOID. Happy Campers is the most expensive garage I have ever used and the worst service I have ever received. DO NOT USE THEM. I had them fix leaks in my campervan and had to pay an exorbitant £2100 for that job. And they did a terrible job! Van was still leaking so I brought it back and then also had them fix some mechanical problems, because I needed my van back in working order asap: a broken alternator and the oil cooler. My van is old so I know parts are hard to come by. This is why it took forever for the parts to arrive and because I live in and work from my van, I was sleeping in the van after they finished work on my van. The manager told me on Monday: the parts have arrived but there is not enough time left today to fix it. So they would fix it the next day. The next day, however, I hear nothing. I phone them and they tell me they will phone me back. But they didn't. I phone again and speak to the manager who tells me that the parts have not arrived because they made a mistake, something about incorrectly booking the parts in the system. Because of this mistake, I have lost a day's work, because I was told the parts are here (not maybe and not on their way, I was told the parts HAD ARRIVED) and the van will be fixed so I had taken on some work for the next day because I thought I would have my van back. But because they misinformed me I ended up losing income because I had to cancel that work. I asked them if they would compensate me for my lost income and they said NO, no way. I need to pay their £2000 bill and I will lose an additional £1000 because of the canceled job. This company employs incompetent people, overcharge and do an awful job. NEVER go there. I will spread the word in the vanlife community.
