Establishment charges swipe fees for debit cards. There is no signage in the establishment indicating there is a surcharge for credit cards. You are only notified when you bring your auto in for servicing. No disclosures are made when you make your appointment stating that there is a surcharge with credit/debit cards. When asked to explain why he is charging for a debit card and explaining to him that debit is same as cash, he just keeps stating that his processing company charges him for all card charges. Advised me that he was not holding me hostage at his establishment and if I didn’t like it I could leave. I left and immediately drove down the street to The Performance Place, LLC who were happy to take my business and not charge me for debit card usage. The owner of Extra Care Auto in Hooksett needs to take some management courses on how to deal with customers. A person with customer service skills would have stated I will waive the surcharge fee on your debit card as goodwill. Would not do business with this company as the owner is just cocky and arrogant. No wonder they have been going through mechanics.
