Given misleading information
Hamza gave misleading information that spark plugs were bad and needed replacement because 1) corona staining and 2) electrode wear. When I later confronted him with evidence from the manufacturer/online that neither of these things appear to be true, he changed his story to "yeah, but since you are there might as well replace it to be done with the problem." BUT THAT'S NOT WHAT HE TOLD ME when he was asking me to authorize the repair costs. He misled me to believe this was a necessary part of the job, when actually there is no evidence the plugs were worn to the point of malfunction and it was a different part (a bad ignition coil) that shorted out that was the actual problem of the misfiring cylinder. I believe he gave me misleading information about the condition of the plugs which then got tacked on to the job and ended up roughly doubling the cost of the repair. This is unacceptable and I will not be going back ever.
