Our diagnostic service is to troubleshoot and confirm cause of check engine light. Our diagnostics time are always stated of minimum 2 hrs, which I was present when the you lady had mentioned such. Along with those 2 hrs, of us conducting the diagnostic, we also included a visual inspection that discovered a faulty fuel pump and several oil leaks.
With certain repairs, we will recommend factory components, due to history of aftermarket components tend to fail with those certain repiars.
On the note of $200, that was the cost for Labor Only if the customer chose to bring their own part to install.
