Find somewhere else
I do not recommend coming to this service center unless you have absolutely no other choice. If you do go there, be prepared for bull. Also, make sure you take pictures of your vehicle and keys. Otherwise, they'll tear up your stuff like they did mine and lie about it. I brought a fairly new car lock with an uncut key to Haley, the advisor I had been working with for a while. Instead, I got back this messed up car lock when I went to pick up my car today. The advisor that replaced Haley was an absolute jerk. His name was Victor. When I asked about my keys, he said "well, we fixed the car" and "I can't help you". Then he proceeded to make me out a liar. Two things: 1- I just paid for a whole engine replacement and a new battery. Why on earth would I make a fuss over something like a car lock if it weren't true? 2- What sense does it make for me to bring a car lock that looks just as bad as the one I wanted to replace? Someone at this service center messed up my new car lock, smashing in the buttons or slipped me a different one and I wanted to find out what happened. I asked for him to speak to the advisor that I handed the new car lock to and all he could say is "she doesn't work here anymore" and "I can't help you" again. So I am now stuck with a messed up car lock that was relatively new when I handed it over. Again, take pictures of your stuff before you give them possession of it or just don't go there at all.

Bad Service and Review of Problems
I took my car to Ed Voyles Hyundai on Cobb Pkwy to have my A/C system checked out because I was not getting any cooling. They did a Diagnostic review and stated that I needed a Radiator and I needed to pay $700.00 for the parts in advance. I was informed when they received the parts and took my Car back to them for the repair. When repaired, I paid another $1300.00 to get my car. I drove it for and few days and if was running Hot. I took it back to Hyundai and talked to Tim about getting another Diagnostic?? After a day of review, I was told that I needed a new Engine. There was really Bad Service in connection with this Dealer. Their Diagnostic did not Find The Problems?? I Paid For Their Mistakes. This is the Worst service that I have received from any Dealer. The waiting area was Filled with Customers. I Will Not Recommend this Dealer to Anyone. The Service and Evaluation Was BAD!! BAD!! I put 1 date for Service, however, these problems and reviews happen for about 2 weeks in March 2023. My car was Towed to this Dealer Twice during the Month. My disagreements was stated with Tim (Service Guy) and Victor(Service Manager). No Satisfactory Results??

Complete scammers
One of the worst experiences I have ever had. Waited 2 months for a service appointment then 2 months for them to get to my car for the engine recall. Then they tell me it's going to be 5k for them to fix the catalyst converter before the engine is approved but admitted that it was probably a result of the faulty engine. Maria is awful, worst customer service skills I have ever experienced. Most car insurance companies are dropping Hyaundai and Kia because they are junk cars. They also tried to give the car back to me for me to do the oil testing when the car almost caused several accidents. After being so frustrated, I asked how much I could sell it to them for and they offered me 2k. Run far away from these scammers and a corporation that is causing engine fires and putting drivers lives at risk.

Customer Service
My Daughter and I usually take our cars for oil change. A sensor lights for the airbag went out in her car . They informed us we needed to replace the sensor. Oct 10, 2022 the replaced the sensor and damaged the steering wheel . They were aware they had stripped the bolts to the steering wheel but never informed us . After driving the car for about a week my Daughter noticed the steering will not straighten up . When she contacted Ed Voyles they informed her to bring the car back in for them to take a look. That was when we was informed they stripped the bolts . They told us they would have to order a the part or a new steering wheel . I asked who would be responsible for the repair, they were not sure . We were not offered a loaner car although they knew the left turn would be off. We waited about 2 months (February 2023)before calling back to follow up on when the car would be repaired. We were informed to bring the car in on 02/20/2023. We drop the car off the night before. We received a text message stating that an order has been placed for the car. An oder has been placed for your car. What does this mean to me . Do they have the part , is the car going to be repaired. We tried to contact he dealership to ask about the text message that we received. We were unable to get anyone on the phone . I went in person to find out what was going on . I asked to speak with Paul because we thought he was the associate we were working with . Paul is rude and does not have good customer service skills to be dealing with the public. He started that he had been looking for my car all morning and did not know it was there . I could not believe. He said Maria sent the text message which are system generated. I received a text stating my car was ready for pick up. Upon picking up my car Paul did not come and educate us on what was repaired on the car or anything. The service has gone down hill since Ms. Katy has been gone. I am looking for a new dealership.

Hyundai is awful
First, let me just start by saying I have had my vehicle since 1/2016 and when I got it there was only 18 miles. So far since I’ve been coming to envoy to get my maintenance, I cannot recall one time where there was not a situation where I had to go back! My first visit there was a oil change which I had to come back because they did not the proper amount of oil back in the car. Another time, which I don’t know what they did, because they’re still lying to this day but my engine blew! The advisor at the time I believe her name was Rachel, sweet young lady, made sure I didn’t come out my pocket with a dime. So I let it go. Turn around not even a year later and still having issues with the engine and when I took it back they told me it wasn’t covered under warranty so whatever they did we had to pay for it. And that was management who gave me that information. Now this, January 5, 2023 My vehicle was stolen. After doing research ? I found that Hyundai intentionally did not put immobilizers on Hyundai Sonata‘s from the year 2015 to the year 2021. not only did they not put the immobilizer on the vehicles so that they could save money but they also decided that it is a defect and a recall is not necessary! Never mind the fact that Millions of people are getting their cars broken into and stolen. Now, Ed Voyles Hyundai is wanting me to pay them over $2000 to have the key cylinder replaced, the plastic cover and a back window. So we are being robbed twice! By the way that immobilizer is 250 just for the part I was scared to even ask how much was the labor! I promise, biggest crooks in the world. I’m starting to think it’s all tied together. I know they could not have foreseen so many vehicles being stolen however, they need to do the right thing and fix our vehicles for free! We paid enough money buying them and additional money keeping them serviced!

Not knowing what they’re doing
On October 21, 2022 I had my car in for a 90,000 mile service which included a complete fuel system service, change of filters, replacement of wiper blades, etc. Paid $598 for this. When picking up the car I was told that the steering coupler has to be replaced asap but that would be under warranty. Today November 3 I had an appointment at 9:45 am for the coupler replacement. I waited for 2 hours when a service rep came to inform me that the couplet was not covered by warranty and would cost $524. He also said that they sent me a link where I could see what else is recommended for service. I opened the link and there were items listed which were done last week , e.g. filter replacements, wiper blade replacement etc.
I don’t have a problem with the wrong information about the warranty issue.
I have a huge problem with the recommended items which were just done about 2 weeks ago. We’re they done at the 90,000 miles service?
Also I asked about the possible safety issue related to the steering issue and told the service man that my steering works just fine. He printed a document stating that the steering coupler when worn out represents no safety problem. Here is my next problem: why wasn’t I told this when I picked up my car on October 22?
I would have paid $524 for something that was not necessary.
My confidence in Ed Voyles Ia almost lost and the after for 11 years I didn’t miss one service for my car.

They will prey, target and discriminate against you. They will lie and defraud you. They are scammers and crooks and sell broken cars! They won't right their wrongs or take any sort of accountability.
Check out the Google Drive for the videos, and supporting documents to support our claims:
https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1K7o3p3DNhRCUNxyq0tsswkTK_1Immi40?usp=sharing

This is our true, raw, life and this story we're sharing is what we've been dealing with for the past 4+ months since 5/30/22, when I bought a new car. We are learning as we go, very expensive lessons, but most importantly-how to advocate for ourselves. This dealership and police department underestimated our intelligence and resourcefulness. They ASSumed we didn't see what was really going on. We caught them and they know it, and they are trying to dismiss is still to this day.

Other consumers: Be informed when you are shopping for anything:

Always ask questions, no matter how many times you need to ask them, until you get clarity, you're entitled to ask!
Pay attention to how the dealership "builds their rapport", and definitely refer to reviews from online may it be Social Media, Google, Yelp, SureCritic, BBB, etc.

Do your research on EVERYTHING. Every detail counts.

Don't take anything at face value.
Always get a second opinion.

Get your own mechanic. Mobile ones will come to the dealerships!

AS IS sales on used or Ceritfied Pre-Owned cars are not excluded from specific laws that can aide you should you find yourself sold a lemon. There are more laws out there if you just look. Like a Revocation of Acceptance, for instance.

Read through all contracts thoroughly. You do not HAVE to buy all those add-ons they sell.

These are just to list a few. I'm going to start sharing more tips and please, help us so we can help you! We have to look out for and advocate for each other. We are all apart of this big picture together, as humans!

Any tips, info, resources, etc.

They sold me a car with a damaged engine that they had already "replaced" under warranty. Their detail department got water in it prior to me purchasing it and they never disclosed that. They either did a bad install or have been lying about the extent of the water damage since day one. The engine is shot and bone dry on oil, like I showed them on 5/31/22. They have been covering this up since day one of purchase of 5/30/22.
NEW GOOGLE DRIVE: Includes supporting evidence of my claims with documents, video footage, and other consumer's reviews. I did take specific consideration into account when I took the time to edit the videos for the profanity of myself and my SO. It was not the best day for us, all things considering; However, this is raw and this is real and this is the truth, my truth. I am actively updating the 2nd video from 8/13/22, which is what occurred right after Marietta Police "helped" us, and I will keep the Drive updated as I go because other's need to be informed for what to look out when doing business dealings in or near Marietta, or Metro-Atlanta.
Disclaimer: This is my personal experience at the hands of Ed Voyles Hyundai Kia Genesis, the General Manager-John Higham, the Service Manager-Jarrad Trotter, and their team. This is the customer service they provided from day one, 5/30/22. Google Drive includeds my proof of what happened unnecessarily at their hands on 8/13/22 and there after, but this all began on 5/30/22 and is still persisting. If you have any stories, reviews, personal experiences or anything you want to contribute please do. I will not stop advocating for myself and my family. The truth will come out and they should right their wrongs and do so ethically:
Guess what, I am not backing down- update to my story! Please share!!

I purchased a car from this very reputed dealership across the street from my complex/home on 5/30/22. I purchased a lovely, fully-loaded 2017 Santa Fe Sport 2.0T. It has a manufacturer warranty, two extended warranties and it's a Certified Pre-Owned, (which they somehow managed to certify within the 2-hour window that it took me to purchase the car that evening despite it having its engine replaced in March due to a recall, and water in the engine, which they never disclosed at the time of purchase.) We took it home that night and it immediately started having issues. The car was bone dry on oil to add insult to injury. The check engine light came on and the car was shaking violently. Ever since that night we had issues for the next two weeks. We left the car with them last on 6/15 and this is where it started to get interesting after I reached out to Hyundai Corporate to seek assistance with the lemon, they sold me under false pretense. I was using the complimentary loaner from Service up until 8/13/22 when they had one hour left to respond to my lawyer's Settlement Agreement and they decided to pull a disgusting stunt, which I have video footage of. This was after they had already declined my Demand Letter and failed to assist me in-house, one-on-one. It is now over a month later and I'm left with no car, no driver's license, and this has severely affected the finances or abilities to make finances like we were as a household. It's caused so much emotional distress and the list goes on of punitive damage. I've fired my lawyer who was helping with the Revocation of Acceptance because at some point along the way my lawyer started working for himself and them and he simply was not fighting to hold them fully accountable for their negligence, incompetency, and conniving ways. We caught them in multiple lies and got them to agree on 9/9/22 to pay off the car in full, if I then give the car back to them (to further profit from) and, I will have to sign a lengthy NDA which would silence myself and anyone else associated with me so we can never sue for further damages or even speak about this for only $10. Mind you, I've lost thousands already, $14,000 on a trade-on, not to mention the potential contract opportunities I would have had if I had a car to use for my two day jobs, etc, but you-know, they just had to get their loaner back even though it was complimentary with no return date. I've already started therapy months ago because of their wrongdoings. I came to them as a vulnerable mother who had just been in a wreck 3 weeks earlier and only had so many resources to begin with. I expressed these various things to them at the time of purchase for them to only prey on me and then target me as their next victim. Myself as a Hispanic woman, and my black SO were wronged with no justification, and I also have multiple people who are willing to give statements regarding how they were also wronged by Ed Voyles in similar if not identical manners. They are the low. They will demean you, laugh at you, underestimate you, lie to you and blame you for things they have no grounds or proof of, just to intimidate you. On 9/13/22 I've now decided to keep and fix the car, in good faith, and they ultimately will be fully held accountable to the fullest legal extent. Come to find out, the engine head gasket may have been blown, as well as other issues and it’s interesting because they should have revealed that at some point since the car was last left with (on 6/15) and worked on by them only ever since I’ve owned it, and even before then when the engine was replaced. My guess is a bad install on the engine, or they really, really don’t know how to repair cars and their formula to making money must be this tactic. I've already reached out to multiple news outlets, and I plan to post my Drive online for my community to see their true colors so they can avoid the same mistakes as me.

Neither Hyundai nor Ed Voyles would reasonably stand behind the product
I’m very disappointed with the longevity of the product.
