After numerous disappointing experiences with this dealership, I've finally had enough.
When we purchased our 2023 Genesis GV80, we paid $1,339 for an Express Five protection package, which includes Dent & Ding Repair. Now that we need to use it, Dublin refuses to commit to repairing our door dings because of associated "scuff marks."
Seriously? How often does a door ding occur without leaving some type of surface mark? I'm not asking them to repair the scuffs. I can buff those out myself. I simply want the dents repaired under the protection package we purchased.
And don't even get me started on their service department! Phone calls routinely go unanswered, messages are not returned, and even when I manage to reach an actual person, I'm transferred straight back to voicemail. At this point, I can't help but wonder whether they're deliberately avoiding my calls when they recognize my caller ID.
The lack of communication, accountability, and basic customer service is absolutely appalling. Getting someone to answer a phone or return a message shouldn't require an act of Congress.
Dublin seems perfectly capable of selling expensive protection packages, but getting assistance when it's time to use one is an entirely different story.
Based on my repeated experiences, I would strongly caution anyone considering doing business with Dublin Hyundai / Genesis of Dublin.
Luxury vehicle prices. Dollar-store customer service. Absolutely unacceptable.
