Dan fixed our daughters 2008 Jeep 6 speed gear popping problem

My husband and I use Dan and his crew to inspect any potential pick up trucks we buy as well as do all our mechanical work on those trucks. We recently purchased a 2008 Jeep Wrangler Sahara for our daughter with a 6 speed manual. That proved to be a huge issue as we taught her to drive a manual with that Jeep unaware of the chronic issues of that said 6 speed. Popping out of gear and just plain hard to get into gear. First she blew a slave cylinder before the first late snow storm. Dan’s guys had it back on the road in less then 48 hours and it’s not a Diesel obviously and we never took it to him before we bought it as we now know we should have! After that new slave cylinder blew as well a few days later and the obvious problems we were having driving it since we bought it. All of us in the family struggled to drive that vehicle comfortably honestly! My husband has his class A for 25 years now. Dan dropped the tranny and did many things I’d be foolish to pretend I know what exactly he did ....regardless it’s fixed and we are truly grateful! At some point we think the gear box needs to be cracked open and I believe we intend to do so but it’s running so true and right we will look into that as we enjoy the fact our daughter is safe and happy driving that Jeep and that was the whole point! Personally I think it’s terribly uncomfortable ride with those ridiculous tires but our 19 yr old is in heaven rolling on them. And safe!
