Doug is a good mechanic. The problem is when things don't go as planned. My son in law replaced the evaporator on our car. We took it to Doug's to pull a vacuum and add a charge which he did. However, He also replaced the low side connection cap with a cap that was too long. This caused the Schrader valve to leak all the charge out and kill the vacuum. If it had only removed the charge i could recharge it myself. When contacted he first tried to tell me he didn't do it when i know for a fact he did since i'm the one who removed the original cap when my son in law replaced the evaporator and that it was done two months ago when it was worked on about a week ago. Now i wouldn't mind that much except that he is doing this so he doesn't have to do the work again at his expense. I've noticed in the last year or so that he is forgetting things. If you use his services make sure to keep notes. I won't be using his services anymore. As someone who is disabled i need someone who is reliable and that seems to be no longer the case.
