Question diagnosis and check sloppy work
Initially diagnosed the incorrect fault and replaced the wrong part. Eventually found the correct cause-effect symptom. Replaced the defective part but marked it up to 3x its value in addition to its labor cost. Just had to read the engine codes! To make matters worst when I got home (broke down on hw away from home) and inspected the work I found a screw missing and the pieces were sloppily put back together with alignment fit
