Recall work
I world give it zero stars if I could. I stopped in to make an appointment for the recalls on my 2019 Santa Fe. I asked if they could do the hitch recall even though I hadn't gotten the notice yet. They said they could. I took my car in. They said they did the work and I left. The next morning at work I noticed that the hitch receiver was not in my car. I called the service department and was first told they didn't remove it and someone else must have taken it. They then looked for it and said it was never on the car. They gave me paperwork saying they inspected it but now they are saying it wasn't there????. I wrote a complaint online then Dallas Oliver, a salesman called me. He started off saying that per my email I bought the car from Katie in March 23. I did not. I tried to tell him that and he said he was reading what I wrote. I DID NOT. I bought the car used from Boardman Acura in February of 2021. They are insisting the war never a hitch receiver on my car. And now they want me to prove that it was. How exactly am I supposed to do that. From what I am understanding it was an after market hitch so not on the original paperwork. I can't find a picture of the back of my car to prove it was there. AND IF IT NEVER WAS THERE WHAT DID THEY INSPECT AND GET PAID FOR, FOR THE RECALL? I am beyond frustrated and angry.
