Left my car disassembled
Took the car in to have it checked out. Knew it needed coolant hoses replaced and there was oil and antifreeze mixed which caused the hose problem. Was told it needed a new engine. Told them I didn't understand how it could drive so well if it needed an entire engine. Was thinking probably a head gasket or something in that area. Told them I was not going to proceed with a new engine and would be by to get the car. Paid for the diagnosis. When we picked up the car, as soon as it was started the air bag sensor light came on. I know, should have just left it there and contacted them on Monday. We already planned to get a second opinion. Got up the road a few miles and the heat wasn't warming up the car. Stopped to check it out. No coolant in the car and hoses missing. Another mistake on my part not taking pictures!!! Found the coolant reservoir and hoses in back seat!
Called and they just can't believe the tech would have left the car the way I described. You and me either!!!!! Offered to give the diagnosis fee back and that's it. Wow, my head is spinning. Can't believe I took a running car in and got it back in pieces! Ridiculous!
