Terrible job. Terrible service.

Took my vehicle here in 2021, going through my text messages today and found the review text from Destin Auto. Figured I'd give an honest review. My family of 6 were on spring break (from Michigan) when our car broke down. Took it there and found out they would have to drop the engine to remove a broken Alternator bolt. Our week-long stay had come to an end and we decided to fly home without our car. A week later I flew back to get it, and at that point I was ok with the cost and service. 2 months later it happened again... this time my home mechanic took it apart to find some of the worst mechanic work I've seen. Not sure if the tech was drunk or trying to rush, but they drilled into everything but the remainder of the broken bolt, including the engine block and the Alternator. They never even got the old bolt extracted. Instead they put a helicoil in an already wallowed out Alternator hole, slapped the pully on and sent us on our way. It's a miracle that I made it back home, let alone another 2 months. I contacted the shop manager and their warranty center and neither of them were willing to do anything for me. It's sickening that they would do such shotty work on a vehichle for a young family trying to have a nice vacation. Save yourself the trouble and do not go there!
