POOR PR FOR OWNERS OF STOLEN VEHICLES
Like a thousand or so other Columbus residents, my car was stolen on the Monday before Thanksgiving. It was recovered and I took it to Dennis Hyundai in Dublin for repairs. I dropped it off on NOV 28 and picked it up on DEC 29 - due to poor service from my insurance company and back orders on parts.

When I picked up my vehicle, I had to pay for it completely since, evidently, no one in service was in contact with my insurance company. The new key fob would not work, since "only the key is part of the repair service and not the fob." I was cheerfully told I would need to use the NEW fob to start the car but I could still use the OLD fob to arm the locks.

With a rash of stolen vehicles due to their poor engineering - and they won't even include the cost of arming a new key fob? Really? I guess they really hate good PR or even taking care of their customers!

I will never purchase another Hyundai and will encourage everyone I know to steer clear of Dennis Hyundai, as well.

Bad service and price gouging
We had our 2017 Hyundai Sante Fe towed to Dennis Hyundai of Dublin for an alternator replacement. We had an appointment at 1:30 on a Tuesday and did not get a response on the issue until end of business on Wednesday despite multiple follow up calls, texts, and emails. When we finally got a response, they quoted $1500 (!) for an alternator replacement. We paid it. It’s my fault for not shopping around. Later I learned that we overpaid by more than double what it would have cost at other repair shops. I should’ve known something was off when they guy checking us out squinted at the screen and said, “I see $1500 for an alternator replacement. Does that sound right?” Also, there was a long wait time when we went to pick up. All around a very poor experience at this shop.

Service Dept is very poor
Our appt was for Wed and we were told we could pick the car up at the end of the day. We dropped it off on Tues morning at 11. They didn't even look at it until then. The problem still exists off and on. We also told them what was to be done, but not all of that info was entered. The service dept doesn't even answer their phones (at location), because they are booked up until the end of August. It was so hard to inquire what was going on with the car. We've gone here for several years and never have had a problem. I do praise the parts dept for trying to help.

Asad Abbas was outstanding
my wife and I came in to the showroom without much urgency to buy a new auto. I had done enough research to have ideas, but Mr Abbas was knowledgeable, professional, and accommodating.we were in a new car in less than 24 hours. (it was the second new auto we purchased from Mr Abbas) Bravo!

This repair shop is the best I've ever come across
I have had such a pleasant experience with Dennis Hyundai. They took a difficult warranty company and found a workaround for all the repairs. They saved my car after Germain just did a horrible job. Dennis worked with me on a rental. Justine Smith is absolutely amazing. She worked too hard to get my repair done in a timely manner and a complete repair. I will never use Germain again. But Dennis has my loyalty now. I will go nowhere else. They were reasonably priced and worked fast. I love this place. I highly recommend hiring these folks for your automobile needs
