After spending thousands of dollars on the car itself, I ended up spending thousands more on repairs and rental cars because the vehicle spent more time in the shop than on the road. After a car accident, the issues only escalated, and instead of reliable transportation, I was left with a car that barely runs. This situation has been a financial drain and a major disruption to my life.
In my experience, Demetry Auto showed no concern, no transparency, and no accountability. I was lied to about repairs. Youseff specifically stated the DPF and related issues were fixed. In reality, the codes were cleared just long enough for us to drive off. A couple of weeks later, the countdown began and the car warned it would lock up — exactly what happens when serious problems were never actually resolved.
Now the owner claims I didn’t even purchase the car from Demetry Auto, which is simply not true. The vehicle title states Demetry Auto, and that is where I had to go to complete the paperwork to register the vehicle. Additionally, Youseff was actively marketing and selling the car online under the Demetry Auto name, making this denial even more concerning and dishonest.
The attempt to intimidate me with cease-and-desist talk is honestly laughable. You have no grounds and no leg to stand on. If anything, I should be the one considering legal action for the ongoing financial strain and disruption this vehicle has caused.
Anyone who takes the time to do real research will see I am not the only person in these reviews with the same experience.
This has been the worst car-buying experience I’ve ever had — and I’ve been purchasing cars since I was 14 years old. I have never owned a vehicle with this many problems.
If you value your money and your peace of mind, DO NOT spend a dime with Demetry Auto.
