Exhausted over my exhaust system
The exhaust system in my '91 MR2 was replaced to address a lack of power and encourage smoother gear transition stability. After installation, the vehicle was thoroughly tested to ensure it met the shop's standards. During testing, it was discovered the gasket supplied with the exhaust system was of poor quality and did not perform as expected. The mechanic disassembled the system and reinstalled it using a higher-quality replacement gasket, which required a two-day wait for delivery. Once the new part arrived and the work was completed, the vehicle was retested to ensure the repair met the shop's standard of quality work. It runs well now. Driving my MR2 is an emotional "get away" from everything. I rely on it for my peace of mind. The Dax team took care of my MR2 as if I would, if I knew how ro do what they do.
