The person I interfaced with had excellent communication skills and was easy to speak with. My car arrived at a major maintenance interval and I felt confident that this shop would do a good job.
Some comments:
1) There was a non-critical service bulletin for my car that required a 5-point Torx bit to complete. This shop did not have a such bit, but also did not seek to purchase one from a local auto parts store. Subarus are popular cars and having that bit would come in handy for other customers, as well.
2) When I left the shop, the right-side passenger window would not function from the driver-side controls. This is a known problem with certain year Subarus and should have been on the check-it list whenever the battery is dis-connected in certain Subarus. The fix is simple, but not intuitive to the every-day driver.
3) The digital speedometer readout was shut off because someone had bumped the switch that controls this. The analog speedometer still works, but is hard to read. Another item for the check-it list.
