(DTPA) I was taking advantage of!!

I was referred to your shop by Head Boss's, who spoke highly of your work. Based on their recommendation, I trusted your services. However, after spending $730.00 for a CV axle repair, my truck is still leaking oil onto the ground. I even recorded a video of the leak and sent it to the mechanic—this should not be happening.

Each time I return to your shop, I’m met with visible frustration from your team, as though I’m the problem. Let’s be clear: if the repairs had been done correctly the first time, I wouldn’t need to keep coming back. Da Fuqq!! It’s unfair and unprofessional to treat a customer with disdain when the issue lies in the service provided.

To date, I’ve spent over $5,000 on repairs, yet I continue to experience new issues after each visit. This is completely unacceptable. I expect to be treated with the same respect as any other customer when returning for unresolved problems.

Recently, I brought my truck back again and was told by Waldo that the oil leak could be from the rack and pinion. However, the leak is clearly coming from the passenger side—right where the CV axle was replaced. It's also worth noting that your team repaired my power steering pump just two to three months ago. If there was even a small leak in the rack and pinion (which sits directly under the power steering pump), why wasn’t this mentioned then? If anything, when the mechanic repaired the power steering pump, they likely caused damage to the rack and pinion. The rack and pinion sits directly beneath the power steering pump—how could that have been missed? Now, three months later, I’m being told there’s a small leak first he said moisture now its a small leak lol wow? That’s not a coincidence. If the rack and pinion has a small leak, it's because Danny Auto damaged it during the repair. This was either carelessly overlooked or intentionally hidden, and now I’m expected to pay for it? Absolutely not.

This follows a disturbing pattern. Last year, I was told I needed a new compressor—a complete lie, as my compressor was only One month old and in perfect condition. These repeated instances make it clear: this shop operates with deceptive practices. What started as trust has turned into suspicion that I’m being taken advantage of—especially as a woman.

Now I'm being told I may have a leak near the crankshaft ventilation valve (PCV). At this point, I will absolutely be getting a second and third opinion. I want to make it clear: if the CV axle is leaking and it’s under warranty, your shop is obligated to correct this.

Your business is dangerously close to being reported for deceptive trade practices. If this is not resolved, I will be pursuing legal action.

In the State of Texas, under the Deceptive Trade Practices–Consumer Protection Act (DTPA), it is illegal to misrepresent repairs or services. Consumers are protected from unfair and dishonest business conduct—and I intend to exercise that right.

This is my final attempt to have this matter resolved before I escalate. I expect a prompt, honest, and permanent fix—no more excuses, no more runaround.

Big Inconvenience

Like it's my fault that my car isn't fixed correctly, TF!!

I've spent nearly $5,000 on repairs, yet I keep having to bring my vehicle back because one issue gets "fixed," and another problem appears. That is unacceptable. When I come back for unresolved issues, I expect to be treated with the same respect as others.

This needs to be fixed correctly--no more back and forth. I've never given your shop trouble, and I expect the same in return.

Best $1,550.00 I've spent.

I recently had a great experience at Danny's Auto Service, where I spent $1,550 on repairs. While that's a significant investment for me, it was absolutely worth it!

Hassan and Waldo are incredibly reliable mechanics who genuinely care about their customers. They take the time to explain the work being done and ensure you feel confident in their services.

I did encounter a minor setback when I picked up my car and it wouldn't start. However, I have complete faith in Hassan and Waldo. They are committed to fixing the issue and ensuring my car is in top shape. Their professionalism and humility really stand out, making me feel like I'm in good hands.

I still have some additional work to get done, but I know I can trust them with my vehicle. I have NO doubts about their ability to take care of me as a loyal customer.

Over decades of service

My husband and I lived near by for decades. Danny’s serviced all of our cars. We never considered taking our auto anywhere else.
