Dane Motors exemplifies "excellent customer service"
TL;DR: Dane Motors may speak quickly and concisely, but they listen and want to help you get in and out just as much as you do *and* as painlessly as possible. Very reasonable prices, if not the best I've found in inner southeast Portland so far.

It's not often that a business is described as "compassionate," but that is how Dane Motors' crew is. My vehicle had a major issue, but I couldn't afford to fix it at the time; it finally had to be towed to their shop when the car gave out. They gave me a new quote for repair, which was significantly higher than the original. I had been budgeting for the expected expense and was devastated. In the end, they stood by the original quote they had given to help me out, which I am so very grateful for. A genuine 'faith in humanity restored' kind of situation.

I had been referred to them by a neighbor who had had their own unexpected automotive misfortune; they raved about how Dane helped them get it taken care of. Based on their glowing rec, I switched garages and tried them out. Zero regrets.
