bought a car missing manual 4+ weeks later no manual
I bought the car noticed the manual was missing asked about it was promised they would order the manual in A few days and 4 weeks later after weekly calls, promises that I would have it by the end of every week, promises to call me and let me know when it would be in, promises that this time they would actually order it and it would be here by friday (again) its still not here its been over a month of constant lying to me, I am done. I went to greensboro and ordered it and they said I should have it by friday, yeah another huundai place, lets see if they are any better. You may think I manual is a silly thing to give a 1 star rating but I am sorry but after promising me the manual for weeks, lying to me that it was ordered then laying to me week after week that it would be in this week I am done. I love the elantra and well get another one but not from burlington hyundai I will drive to raleigh if I have to, you can only lie to me so many times before I call you a liar and will never do business with them ever again. If you can lie about something as simple ordering a manual or making sure you sell a used car with a manual what makes me think you would not lie about something else or string me along for weeks. Great job you guys, you lost a customer for life Durham/Raleigh/Greensboro is where I will go to get my next elantra.
one last point, them providing me the manual was part of why I bought the car, as I was on the fence but after they PROMISED to get me the manual I agreed to buy the car.
Keep that in mind if they can lie about ordering a manual and then promise you week after week that its been ordered and will be in that week and promise they would call you back (none ever did) what else will they lie to you about, so you have been warned.
