Worst Used car salesman in history
Do not buy from this used car dealer. I have never had to get into a cursing match with a salesman before today. From the first 60 seconds of coming to the lot the salesman gave me attitude; I wasn't even there to speak to the problem salesman! look at the other reviews here about rude and disrespectful workers and this is par for the course at this dealership, it seems to be their normal operating procedure. I called later to talk to a manager of the used car department; this was also a waste of time. The manger seemed to think I had nothing better to do with my time than drive on to the lot and choose to curse at his salesmen FOR NO REASON. This type of asinine reasoning should make you understand who these people are.

Horrible customer service
They will not call you. They had my car, said they would call and when it neared the end of the day, I sent my son to pick my car up. He shows up and they say, oh we need to keep it another day and they will call tomorrow morning. Next day, again, no phone call. Then my part comes in for my car, I wait a week and hear nothing so I call them. My part is in, no one called me to tell me. It also took them 4 times to fix my seat. They changed the switch, fuse and motor. Then when I got it back it quit working in parking lot. Finally, they took the seat off and said wire was broken and warranty won’t cover. If they had done their job in first place, they would have found the wire the first time.

Disrespectful
I found a Palisade online, and stopped by the store at at lunch. I met a great sales guy who was knowledgeable about the vehicle. We went back inside, and I made sure he knew I wanted the car. I told him I wasn’t going to negotiate on price, even though it was $4k above market price. I asked for some help on a warranty and maybe some oil changes. He said he’d bring over the “finance guy.” He came over, and I updated him on what I told the sales guy. Without saying anything, he wrote $3500 and $1000 on a piece of paper, and said, “I can sell you a warranty for $3500, and 5 years of oil changes for $1000.” I was a little surprised, and I said, “so I am prepaying for oil changes, and you can’t help with a warranty either?” He condescendingly said, “we are a for-profit business.”

I was shocked. I responded, “well, I’m trying to give you $60k for a car that worth about $51k, so that’s quite a bit of profit. I am just asking for a little help.” He made some more disrespectful comments, and I told him I was done being disrespected. His response, “well, this is America so you can go buy a car somewhere else.”

As I left, he crumpled the paper and threw it in the trash as he began to bad mouth me to his manager, within ear shot of me, as I walked out the door. The GM or salesperson never contacted me.

But here’s a the thing. I drove a half mile down the road to Superior and got a Palisade with 10k less miles and a warranty for $10k less than Crain was offering. I was also treated with respect.

Tried to do the bait and switch on prices. Added extra fees and refused to remove them even though they stated them as optional

I stopped by in person to determine if it was time for maintenance since I had not yet met the mileage for it but it had been awhile. The service manager helped me to determine if it was time for it and if anything else was due to be done and helped me make an appointment. Everyone is friendly and courteous. The waiting room is close to the service desk, had comfortable seating, TV and complementary bottled waters. When it came time for my appointment my vehicle was quickly attended to and service was completed sooner that I expected. At checkout I was given a report of the status of my vehicle. I love my Kona and all its great features - especially the awesome stereo system!
