No charge for service!
I’m old school in that I didn’t think to check my dash board for alerts if my tire pressure was too low. When I got in my car today my front left tire looked lower than it was yesterday. I ended up going to Country Tire in Cherokee to get the tire checked out for a possible leak.
While they checked the tire, I sat on a stool at the front desk counter and waited. An elderly lady came in to pay her bill for repairs, and discovered she didn’t have her billfold in her purse. And couldn’t pay her bill which came to $57. She had $20 is all. I pulled out a $50 and said let me help you out, I told them I would cover $50 if she could get the rest. She was very thankful, and promised to pay me back. I said she didn’t need to, it was just an opportunity for me to pay it forward. She asked what my name was, and I said, matter of factly, “Jesus Christ”. Everybody laughed.
As it turned out there was nothing wrong with my tire, they didn’t charge me anything for checking it.
So now you know God put me where I was needed in that elderly lady’s life, to help her out in her time of need.
